Many times there are unknown persons which are using your
systems like computer/Laptops.
Now that times if you want prevent your important data transferring
to USB drive, you need to disable
your USB ports.
Here we can see how it is possible to make it.
Step 1:-
Press “Window_button+R” or open “Run” option from start menu
when no other application running.
It means you are on your desktop page.
Step 2:-
Now in that text box write down “regedit” and press enter
button from your keyboard or just click on OK.
Step 3:-
Now go to below mention path step by step
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE -> SYSTEM -> CurrentControlSet -> Services -> UsbStor
Step 4:-
Now in Right pane you can see option “Start”. Just double
click on it.
Here you can see “Value
data” with value “3”.
Now change that value with “4”.
Then Press OK.
Exit from “regedit”.
Go to desktop and refresh it.
And now connect your USB drive it’s not getting connected.
Because it’s already disabled.
If you want to enable again follow same procedure and set back
value 3. Now your USB ports are Enable again.
